Adding on to the existing field-proven high performance RAID engine, the PRO RXd implements the latest PCI-express Extender technology to provide super fast, low cost, redundant storage with upwards of 32TB capacity in a 3u 19” rackmount space. The PRO RXd comes in a 16 bay configuration with 500GB, 1TB or 2TB pre-loaded drive models. The PRO RXd also makes expansion easy and cost effective with its built-in PCIe expander port. Capacity can be increased by simply connecting to the built-in expander on the PRO RXd. Additional PRO RXd systems can be daisy chained to the built-in expander port to provide unlimited storage capabilities without sacrificing additional PCIe slots.
The highly reliable high performance RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 3, 5 and 6 connects to upwards of 16 SATA/SAS 3Gb/6Gb 7200RPM or 15000RPM disk modules. An impressive set of data rates breaks all records, more on this below.  20Gb per second HBE
The PRO RXd Host Bus Extender (HBE) implements the latest 20Gb/sec PCI-express Extender technology, enabling the extension of the computer’s PCI-express signals to the PRO RXd enclosure. The HBE is super fast, power efficient and runs cool. The HBE is capable of up to 8 lanes of the PCI-express speed, enabling the RAID controllers to run at full speed. 1400MB+/sec in RAID 0 is super fast, check out the full performance graph for the complete map of the PRO RXd performance capabilities.
The full metal secure locking PCI-express Extender Cable connects the HBE and PRO RXd enclosure, up to 10-meter can be used for machine room connectivity.
 Full Speed at Full Load
Check out the performance map to the right, the PRO RXd simply does not slow down! Even when it is fully loaded with a bunch of media, the PRO RX keeps on going. An impressive set of data rates breaks all records, in the performance RAID 0 stripe mode the PRO RXd measures 1400MB+/sec, in the drive redundant RAID 5 mode the PRO RX measures 1200MB+/sec. Again, examine the graph for yourself, these performance rates are truly sustained from empty to full, not just when it is empty.
 RAID Management GUI
A web browser accessed RAID Console provides quick and easy RAID management. The PRO RXd comes pre-configured for Mac OS X in RAID 5 protection mode, so it might not be necessary to access the RAID Console initially. But, should you want to change the configuration or manage the disk drives, you are just a couple of clicks away from the RAID Console.
Highly configurable for single RAID or multiple RAIDs with various RAID levels are easily managed using the RAID Console management interface.
Event notification with e-mail, Event Log Views, Controller and drive temperature monitoring are but a few of the full set professional grade manager.

We are well ConnectedThe PRO RXd connection is strong and secure. The PRo RXd not only protects your data with the latest RAID options, we are also well connected to keep your data secured. The connectors used in the PRO RXd are made of metal construction and locks securely in place to prevent accidental removal.
Standard 1-meter cable is provided with optional lengths of 3, 7 and 10-meters.

 Unlimited Expansion
The PRO RXd makes expansion easy and cost effective with its built-in PCIe expander port. Additional PRO RXd systems can be daisy chained to the built-in expander port to provide unlimited storage capabilities without sacrificing additional PCIe slots. Never run out of storage! When your storage needs grows, the PRO RXd can also be expanded using the PRO EX PCI-e Expander. The PRO EX can accommodate up to 7 PRO RXd systems, that is a total of 224TB. If that is not enough, the PRO EX can be daisy chained to provide a virtually unlimited storage environment.
