The Grass Valley™ ADVC® professional family employs the innovative Canopus® DV codec to provide the industry's best picture-quality preservation during analog-to-DV conversion. As standalone units or connected to a computer, all ADVC professional family products are NTSC and PAL compatible and feature broad integration with video equipment and software with intelligent input/output selection incorporating automatic signal detection. The ADVC55 connects VHS, Hi8, and other analog video equipment to a DV camera, deck, or editing system. The ADVC110 connects all analog and digital video cameras, decks, and editing systems and converts video bi-directionally. The ADVC300 features high-quality image-enhancement technology to preserve old VHS and Hi8 videos in a clean DV format. The Grass Valley™ ADVC® HD Family of converters are a robust and reliable way to convert HD video into other formats in the studio production environment. ADVC HD products feature broad compatibility with video equipment and sturdy construction, do not require drivers or software applications, and are Windows and Macintosh compatible. The ADVC-HDM1 provides bi-directional conversion between HD-SDI and HDV signals, complete with embedded audio. It encodes HD MPEG-2 transport streams up to full 1920x1080 resolution using one of eight bit-rate settings. The ADVC-HD50 converts any uncompressed HDMI source to the HDV format for easier editing, reducing the need for a high-performance system or costly HDD storage. The ADVC-HDSC1 converts HD-SDI signals to HD component output or SD-SDI signals to SD component output. It provides instant output of HD content to affordable HD component displays, such as TVs and RGB monitors—and standard-definition content to component, S-video, and composite displays. | |
