At Integrate Expo 2026, Johnny Chiu from Lumens ran the CamConnect Pro speaker tracking in our Lumens room all week, and The AVIT Group filmed the demo. It takes on a problem every meeting room integrator knows: keeping the camera on whoever is talking.
How the room worked
A Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 picked up each voice and passed the speaker’s position to the CamConnect Pro processor. CamConnect Pro then chose a camera and framed the shot, so the far end saw whoever was speaking. Lumens says one processor can direct up to four IP PTZ cameras.
Where it fits
Fixed presets suit fixed seating. In boardrooms and lecture theatres, where people move, swap seats or speak from anywhere in the room, building and maintaining a preset for every seat becomes a job of its own. CamConnect Pro works from where the voice actually is.
