Lumens VC-TR32 combines dual-lens tracking with three outputs

Lumens has launched the VC-TR32, a 1080p PTZ camera that tracks presenters and outputs video via HDMI, USB, and IP simultaneously. A separate panoramic lens monitors the scene while the PTZ lens frames the shot.

Keep the presenter in view

The VC-TR32 separates tracking from video capture. Its panoramic sensor watches a wider view while the PTZ lens follows the presenter, with 12x optical zoom for tighter framing.

Automatic framing and motion tracking follow changes in presenter position. The quiet PTZ motors keep camera movements smooth.

Connect the room and the remote audience

Simultaneous outputs give an integrator several paths for the same camera feed. HDMI can feed a local display, USB can connect to a conferencing computer, and IP can carry video onto the network.

  • HDMI and IP: Up to 1080p60 through HDMI and the main PTZ IP stream.
  • USB: USB 3.0, with video up to 1080p30.
  • Streaming: RTSP, RTMP, and SRT for network video workflows.
  • Power and network: PoE carries power, video, audio, and control over one Ethernet cable.

For conferencing, you can connect a computer over USB, and use HDMI or the main IP stream when the workflow calls for 1080p60.

Fit the camera to the activity

The VC-TR32 mounts upright or inverted. Its panoramic lens has an 87-degree horizontal view, so check the camera position against the area where presenters will move.

Lumens also supports its CamConnect voice-tracking system and AV-over-IP encoder/decoder range. For rooms where participants take turns speaking, consider the supporting microphones and camera-control equipment alongside presenter tracking.

Coverage

Most lower cost tracking cameras rely on a single lens for both tracking and video capture, whereas the Lumens VC-TR32 employs a sophisticated dual-lens design. Its wide-angle panoramic sensor continuously monitors the entire scene while the PTZ camera is dedicated to video acquisition, enabling more accurate and reliable presenter tracking.

Start with where people will present and where the video needs to go. The VC-TR32 gives you the flexibility to mount it and connect it the way the room needs.
